My obsession with TCM dates back to my teenage years, when I wrote the network a fan letter. To my amazement, I received a lovely letter back.
In 2015, I signed on as a Social Producer for the TCM Classic Film Festival. I returned in the same capacity in 2016 and served as a TCM Social Ambassador for the festivals in 2018 and 2019. As a social producer and ambassador, I put my research background to work creating unique content, both for TCM’s accounts and my own social media accounts.
Following the 2016 festival, I was extended an offer to become a freelance copywriter for the network’s social platforms. My duties evolved from creating Instagram copy for their annual Summer Under the Stars campaign to becoming TCM’s first ever long-form Tumblr writer. The success of my Tumblr articles prompted the company to expand their writing pool. Since 2022, I’ve shifted to penning monthly programming articles for TCM.com.
