I See A Dark Theater was established in March 2014 as a way to celebrate the wealth of classic film culture in Los Angeles. Basically, I didn’t want all the Q&As I recorded on my phone to go to waste, and I figured they may be something the internet might find amusing. Hopefully, I was right!

Since then, I’ve penned over 200 posts; participated in several blogathons; written about local film festivals including Noir City: Hollywood, UCLA’s Festival of Preservation, and Cinecon; received media credentials to cover the TCM Classic Film Festival (TCMFF) in 2017, 2018, and 2023; spoken to guests and stars on TCMFF’s red carpet from 2016-2019; and interviewed the incredible Marsha Hunt, an MGM contract player and humanitarian who turned 100 in October 2017.
